Condor Dual VGA 3U VPX Carrier

Condor Dual VGA 3U VPX Carrier

Conduction-Cooled Dual VGA 3U VPX Carrier for Lab Environments

The Condor Dual VGA 3U VPX Carrier Board is a conduction cooled 3U VPX product designed to mount a Condor NVP2102xX or Condor NVA2102xX XMC board and provide access to the rear XMC I/O signals according to VITA 46.9 (x12d + x8d + 24s). The unit has VPX-REDI 2-Level Maintenance top and bottom covers.

The carrier board has active circuitry to create a second VGA output from one of the XMC board’s DisplayPort outputs and then clones that VGA output with a VGA splitter. The rear XMC I/O from the mounted XMC board and the VGA outputs from the splitter are routed to the rear VPX P2 connector on the carrier board. The XMC I/O (other than the DisplayPort output that is being converted to VGA) is passed through the carrier to the rear I/O connector without passing through any components. Only four outputs from the XMC card can be active at the same time. The Condor Dual VGA 3U VPX Carrier Board supports up to PCI Express 3.0 (4 lane) when mated with compatible Single Board Computers (SBCs) using RT2 VPX connectors.
