The DuraVision FDS1904 is a 19-inch industrial grade COTS LCD monitor with 1280 x 1024 native resolution. The monitor’s backlight brightness, gamma, and RGB color settings are calibrated at EIZO’s factory prior to shipment so each monitor achieves accurate color reproduction for meeting the highly specialized requirements of ECDIS systems. The monitor meets IEC 61174, IEC 62288, and IEC 62388 international standards for ECDIS and RADAR applications.

The monitor is ready to be deployed for industrial grade applications, complying with the conditions for temperature, humidity, and vibration as defined in the IEC 60945 international standard for maritime navigation and radio communication equipment and systems. An IP65 rating on the front ensures it can withstand dust ingress and is protected against low-pressure water jets
Additionally, the monitor meets the requirements for 12 major maritime classifications with EU RO MR Type Approval, as well as approvals for LR (UK), DNV (Norway / Germany), ABS (USA), and NK (Japan).
A touch panel variation with projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology with 5-point multitouch is available as a variation.
